In 1990 I was juried locally in woodworking with the League of New Hampshire Craftsman and for the next 15 years I continued making fine furniture, built-ins, and cabinets - some for my families use, and some for sale through the local League Shop. Later in 2002 I became a member of the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers.

In 2003 my full-time position of employment was phased out and my family and I made the decision to begin making fine furniture and cabinets full-time.

In 2006 I became juried at the State level with the League of New Hampshire Craftsman. The Shaker-Style Bookcase, and the Traditional Blanket Chest shown on this web site were among the items submitted to the jury. The Shaker-style Bookcase was also exhibited at the 2006 Living with Crafts display at the League of New Hampshire Craftsman’s Annual Fair in Sunapee, NH.

I enjoy working directly with clients to design and create items of heirloom quality that can be enjoyed for many years to come.

I was born and raised in rural Maine where I first developed an interest in  woodworking at an early age. My first significant piece of furniture was a frame and panel desk made with the help of my Dad when I was in high school.

After High School, my formal education and employment was not in woodworking, but I spent much of my spare time making furniture and learning about furniture design and construction, with the thought that it might, one day, become a full-time pursuit.
