Shaker-Style Built-in Cabinet

This Shaker style built-in cabinet provides substantial storage in a small hallway just outside a bedroom. The cabinet is faced with butternut which has been carefully stained to a warm brown color. The darker colored knobs are hand-turned walnut. The look and feel of the cabinet is in keeping with the wide pine floors and hand-forged hardware on the passageway doors.

Strafford Fireplace Wall

This large fireplace wall was adapted from the kitchen fireplace of the Freeman farm house at Old Sturbridge Village. The vertical boards above the simple mantle create a very early fireplace wall which is complemented by the four-panel doors supplied by "Bow House," Bolton, Mass. The fireplace and bake oven with with granite lintels and reproduction brick was built by Bob Hanscomb Masonry, Kingston, NH.

Living Room Built-in TV Cabinet

This cabinet was designed and built to match existing Greek Revival doors and millwork in a circa 1880 Victorian house. The top casing and trim tie the new work to an existing doorway. The cabinet looks and feels as if has been part of the room for over 100 years, but the interior contains a modern flat screen TV. Overall size 81" high, 44" wide (not including existing door), 12" deep.
