Wall Clock
"The clock is an emblem of a Shaker community because everything goes on time," wrote a Shaker Elder in the mid-eighteen eighties. This clock, patterned after one made in 1840 by Isaac Newton Youngs, can be hung directly on any wall or on a Shaker pegboard. This clock looks good on almost any wall. Overall size 33½" high, 11" wide, and 4½" deep. Quartz regulated movement with traditional pendulum hung on brass rod. Also available with mechanical movement.
Tall Clock
This clock is representative of the simplicity, purity, and utility of Shaker clockmakers. This classic tall case is a scaled down but otherwise near reproduction of the clock that was made in 1811 by Erastus Rude of the New Lebanon community. The clock has a quiet, but elegant, presence in any room. Overall size 81½" high, 16" wide, and 9½" deep. The clock has an 8 day weight driven pendulum movement with chime.
