"Farmhouse Kitchen" Drop-Leaf Table

The gracefully turned legs and carefully proportioned drop leaves of this table are patterned after a table made about a century ago.  I have reason to believe that the original table was used in my grandparent's farmhouse kitchen for both cooking and eating.  Although subjected to burn marks from pots, clamp marks from early food processing equipment, repairs to a broken leg, and a later 'antiquing' to cover decades of wear, it had lost little of its original charm.

This near reproduction, constructed of African mahogany, will delight the eye in almost any setting.  Overall size 29" high, 20" deep  (40" with drop leaves raised), and 40" long.
